Day 1 - Strasbourg

Strasbourg
@theluppoloexplorer
The Alsatian capital, the city of Strasbourg represents the starting point for any trip to this region. This is considered the largest city in the area, but certainly don't expect a metropolis! Even though it is an area with a high wine vocation, the particularly surprising beer selection is not long in coming.

The historic center of the city of Strasbourg can be easily visited by foot, although we recommend staying in a hotel a few kilometers outside in order to find a solution with a better quality-price ratio.

The structure we recommend is "Hotel Restaurant d'Alsace - The Originals"

A tram is available in front of the structure which takes you to the historic center in about 20 minutes. The tram is available at various times of the day, it is very clean and punctual.

Once you reach the historic center of the city (we recommend getting off at the Langstross Grand'Rue stop), your visit have to start from the "Notre Dame Cathedral" of Strasbourg.

Cathédrale de Strasbourg

Built in 1015, it is 142 meters high and stands out over the entire city.
