Töölö location is the largest and most spatious to walk around in, although still pretty cozy. The Töölö area is pretty and has many interesting places such as cafe regatta and is close to many parks.

The Stockmann location has the nicest cafe and has the most items on the menu. Personally I’ve found the best items here, but that obviusly depends on the sellers. Note that this location is inside the Stockmann department store on the second floor. It might be a bit tricky to find. 

Relove has three locations in Helsinki and one store in Helsinki-Vantaa airport. They carry a wide range of upscale brands along with good basics. You can really find some designer gems for a reasonable price. 

The stores are pretty and very clean and tidy. They also have a little cafe in the store so you can grab a cup of joe before taking on the racks or just enjoy brunch. 

This location is also very nice, but gets really crowded during weekends and the isles are very narrow. However it is in an area with many thrift stores so you can easily stop by to see if they have some gems on your way to other spots on this list. 

If you like to thrift higher end items this is the place for you. They have a good selection of designer pieces for sale from individual sellers. The prices vary a lot and I’ve found some special pieces for a fraction of the original price. Generally speaking it is on the pricier side though. 

Uff us propably the most famous thrift shop chain in Finland. They have over 15 locations around Helsinki metropolitan area. I’ve listed here my favorite locations. Some of the Uff stores are branded as vintage stores and they have the most unique items in them. The price range is quite good and you can really find some great pieces in there. They carry a wide selection from shoes to coats to corsets and so much more. They also have the craziest end of season sales during which you can get everything from the store for as little as one euro. 

Beyond retro is one of the best vintage shops in Helsinki. They carry a wide range of items and have reasonable prices. They source the clothes from all over the nordic countries. This store is located in Forum mall. 

This is one of my favorite thrift shops because it is less known, and I’ve found amazing pieces for dirt cheap. This thrift shop is for the more seasoned thrifters though since it is managed my the sellers themselves who come to clean their table only few times a week so it is not always tidy and you might have to dig throug piles. However the prices are very reasonable and you can find treasures in there. 

Super well curated and has the best selection of jeans from brands like carhartt wip, Lee, Dickies and many more. On the pricier side, but so worth it!

During summer the locals host a flea market in Dallapé Park every sunday. It is quite popular and it’s a fun way to meet people and make some finds. Especially good for home decor and shoes since there are no changing rooms. The prices are cheap and there is often room to haggle if that’s something you can do ;).
