↓THINGS TO KNOW↓

Options for getting to/from Sole’n Blu:

- Flight to Antalya (AYT): You can take the metro from Terminal 1 to the bus station called "Bati Antalya" (If you're in Terminal 2, you'd have to take a tax to terminal 1 for 100-200tl.). Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to Bati for 500-700tl, which will also save you a lot of time.

-Flight to Dalaman (DLM): Take a dolmuş to Kaş for 400tl. Transport is to/from the airport. You can visit this website for more info  (https://kasozgurturizm.com), or send them a WhatsApp message +90 534 960 49 80

-Flight to Kastelorizo (KZS): Take a ferry to Kaş, making for a scenic arrival. You can book the ferry at the ports or online. You can find the time tables here: https://www.meisferrylines.com/en/kastellorizo-meis-kas-schedule

Car or Long Distance Bus: Whether you're coming from or going to Istanbul, Cappadocia, etc, there's plenty of long distance buses to get you there! You can use google maps or Rome to Rio (https://www.rome2rio.com) to guide you on how to get there. Alternatively, you can use a rental car if you're doing a road trip (:

Getting Around Town:

Shuttle: This is the cheapest option at 30tl (cash) per ride.

-When you're in town, you can find the minibus by the mosque at the end of the main square plan to use the minibus to get to other destinations, you can

Rent a Scooter:

This is my favorite way to get around because of the freedom to get up and go when you want, and guaranteed to always find easy parking.

Rent a car:

If you plan to do things roadtrip style or go to beaches further away, this could be a good option! But keep in mind that parking can be tricky on the narrow roads. (Just a tip, if you return the car on the last day even 1 hour past the time you originally picked the car up on the first day, then you will get charged for an additional 24 hours.)

Staying Connected:

- Sole'n Blu has amazing wifi connection!

- You can download "Organic Maps" in the App Store. It can be used completely offline once you download your map, so you won’t need to rely on an internet connection to figure out where you’re going. There is also "Instabridge" or "Wifi Map" (Free Wifi + Finder): It is like a Wi-Fi community; users can use the app to access free Wi-Fi around them.

- Alternatively, you can pick up a local SIM card, or an E-Sim which can be found here:

Season/Weather

 Peak Season:

May– End of September: The busiest time with a lively atmosphere, perfect for swimming and enjoying the town’s activities.

Off Season:

November 1 – May 1: The season slows down starting in October, and by November, Kaş becomes quieter with fewer tourists and cooler weather.

You can find the current weather conditions below:

Beaches/Snorkeling

Waikīkī Beach
@Theguidedtravels
Stretching from Hilton Hawaiian Village on the west side to Kapi'olani Park on the east, this beach is a great local option if you're staying in the area! Grab a drink from a local bar/restaurant and head to the pier or beach and watch the sunset!

Hikes/Viewpoints

Waimea Falls
@Theguidedtravels
This is a 1.9-mile out-and-back trail. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 hour to complete. It is paved the entire way to the waterfall, where you can swim. It is important to note that it costs about $25 to enter, can feel touristy, includes a botanical garden, and rock jumping is not allowed. If you visit, it is recommended to go early!

Bars/Nightlife/Drinks

O'ahu has never been known for its nightlife, although it does exist. Each place is different as far as the vibe! For example, some places below will be good for partying, and some for lounging/casual.

If you're looking to hop around different bars/parties and stay up late, catch an Uber to Chinatown on the "hotel street" and explore that one block. This area is especially best during the weekends!

It's important to note that some hostels typically have social nightlife parties and events going on, so make sure to look into those as well if that's what you're into!

The Pupu House
@Theguidedtravels
When all other places have been closed or low vibes, this spot always seems to be reliable! The vibe just depends on the people/age range there. But it's a fun little spot worth checking out! The downstairs offers karaoke and upstairs is more like a club.
