Arival

From Bergamo the easiest way to the centre is to get the airport bus and it is 12 euros or 10 euros if book online it comes every half hour but check on website if unsure.

It takes one hour and you will be dropped right outside Central station from there you can get a train to where ever or the tube

Hotel Da Vinci

If visiting this area in the afternoon it is crazy mad busy.

Day one full day

Sunday

I recommend if you want some nice pictures of Duamo you need to go early as possible and the shopping centre.Even by 8am there is people on a Sunday so if you want pictures I suggest getting up 6am possibly and making your way there if you want no one in the background as everyone has the same idea

You can have breakfast facing the Duamo just opposite and this is an amazing view.

Meating point was not far from republica metro station for the bus at 9.15am

Tirano
@theitinerarygal
Booked with get your guide for the bernina express But you can get a normal train here quite easily from milan if you want to do this yourself. Then you just need to book your train tickets yourself

Its gastronomic scene is second to none, boasting an array of superb restaurants from Michelin-star spots to local gems

Bernina Express

Booked with get your guide but you can do it yourself by getting a normal train from tirano and the bernina express only runs once in winter which I believe is approx 4.30pm so make sure you check the website

Places to eat St Moritz

Please be aware that it is quite expensive to eat here. I got a take away kebab and water and it came to £16

Monday

If want any pictures will need to get up early as this metro stop is not far from Duamo. I needed a lie in as I was totally wiped out from the last two days.

When I arrived at the metro station I got a Crossaint and cappuccino from the stall inside for less than €5

Straight outside of the metro is a McDonald's I ate my breakfast there facing the arch

QC Termemilano is a 2/3 minute walk from here around the corner. I paid for the 5 hour spa experience and I would say it is worth it but it does get busy after 10.30am and weekends in Milan are crazy busy no matter what time of year you come

Bone church opens from 8am on weekdays but Check opening times on website Quite hard to find on the sat nav but walk past the duomo on your right (you are facing the duomo) keep walking and then you will take a right and see a bank on your left and a pretty fountain continue straight cross the zebra crossing and you will see it on your left. It's just a small Chapel inside of the Chapel but it is becoming increasingly popular. There were only 2 other people in when I was there on a Monday

I have included the website to book your tickets so you can choose your timeslot

I dont drink so I don't have any bars to recommend personally.

Tuesday

Option to store luggage if up early and get train to go and do Lake Como.

From Milan Central station it is approx 5 euros for a one ticket to como but the best option if you only have one day. Take a train to Veranna which should take 1 hour. This will cost approximately 7 euros and make sure to check return times

The ferry from Varenna to Bellagio takes just 15 minutes, and the cost is a mere 4.60 euro. You will thoroughly enjoy all that Bellagio has to offer.

This is a more do able option if you are short on time and need to get back

Lake Como
@theitinerarygal
I have drove past this on the way to St moritz and looked beautiful so will be an early start to do this

Flight is 11pm but it is 1 hour 30 from Central Milan roughly to airport and need to be there no later than 7pm which means the last option for me to leave the central station is approx 5pm/5.30 to make sure.

Also need to get tube to the central station then bus to airport which takes 1 hour and need to check times that it leaves

Varenna
@theitinerarygal
From here you can get the boat to belliego in 15 20 minutes so an easier option Trains come every two hours so plan accordingly to get back for your transfer

Menaggio
@theitinerarygal
Just a few minutes from the town’s pier is Piazza Garibaldi, the heart of Menaggio. Here, and in the surrounding small squares, there are many bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors with lake views. From Piazza Garibaldi, streets branch off leading to various points of interest. 📷 You absolutely cannot miss a walk along Menaggio’s lakefront Viale Benedetto Castelli, in my opinion one of the most beautiful on Lake Como. This elegant lakefront is the perfect place for a relaxing stroll among flower beds and colorful houses. Don’t miss the opportunity to take beautiful photographs with Bellagio and Lake Como in the background!
