NORWAY: Lofoten Islands by campervan
THE LOFOTEN ISLANDS
The Lofoten Islands are known as the Caribbean of the Arctic, and I can tell that’s right! These islands are considered as one of the most beautiful areas of Norway and, if you are passionate about hiking and "Van life", you must visit this destination! It will be a paradise for you! Did you know that is allowed to camp anywhere around Norway? How amazing is that! Of course, with responsibility and not leaving trash behind!
The itinerary I am sharing next is a complete 7-day road trip by Campervan, which ends up reaching the southermost point of the Lofoten Islands, and which focuses on hikes, nature and adventure over visiting villages or recommending restaurants. So if this is your vibe, keep reading!
❗️EVA'S TIP: plan your trip according to the weather forecast. In my case, I tried to follow the sun, leaving some places for the end. This itinerary is leaving some extra places to stop by on the way back from the South. I would suggest to follow this exact itinerary if you have sunny days, as you will ensure being organized, and taking the most of your time travelling here!
I recommend you checking the guides in 68 North for extra information in hikes! 👇🏼
Now, if you are ready, let's start driving along the Nordic Caribbean!
