Need an idea for a day trip in the beautiful Tuscan countryside? Are you enjoying wine country but you really need a beer? Well, this itenerary offers 0km and organic farms that also make great beer and stunning views of the Val D'Orcia and surrounding hills. For the lover of Fark to Fork (or Plow to Pint 😉) experiences. You’ll get all you'll need for a full day in the countryside including route maps and contact information.
As with many businesses in Italy hours are often fluid. It’s always a good idea to make contact and/or reservations before making a drive.
Remember drinking and driving is bad. Have a designated driver or hire a car service.

Brasseria della Fonte

Regularly ranked among the top breweries in Italy, this farm brewery is located outside Pienza and boasts some of the best beers and views in the region. Run by Samuele Cesaroni, one of the most respected brewers in Italy, this small brewery has a wide variety of styles from lagers to barrel aged stouts.
The taproom has regular hours, mostly weekends, but calling or messaging ahead is recommended.

Birrificio Saragiolino

Run by twin brothers Andrea and Lorenzo Crociani, Birrificio Saragiolino is a sustainable brewery located on their family farm in the rolling hills outside Torrita di Siena. The farm produces the barley that, they use in all their award winning beers.
You can visit their beautiful cellar and taproom for tours and tasting and typical Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, produced by local companies. Saragiolino hosts regular food and beer events throughout the season (check out their Facebook page). The taproom has regular hours but calling or WhatsApp-ing ahead is recommended.

The FIRST Organic Agricultural Brewery in Italy. Established in 1997 this 0km brewery, farm, and agritorismo is located in the Crete Senesi near Rapolano Terme. La Steccaia strives for delicious and sustainable beers, and they do both very well.
They have brewery tours and tastings. Must call ahead to reserve.
