Hey there! We're Kyle and Madie, recent college graduates who have decided to embark on a full-time travel adventure. Our goal? To make it work on a budget of just $60 a day as a couple. In this post, we'll take you along with us as we explore the beautiful city of Prague on a limited budget.

Our Accommodation - Airbnb near Old Town Prague

We stayed in an Airbnb just south of Old Town Prague, which was a perfect location for us. It's only a 10 to 15-minute walk to everywhere we want to go, so we don't have to worry about using public transportation. This is a great way to save money and keep our costs low. To save some more money, we had a simple breakfast of a baguette with Nutella and banana, and some hard-boiled eggs that we made in Our Airbnb.

Denni Menu Lunch in Old Town!

What is a Denni menu? Only the best hack for budget travelers coming to Prague! A Denni Menu is a lunch menu only on working days from about 11 am to 2 pm that has 2 or 3 set dishes that are usually cheaper than other menu items! Most times you will have to check with the restaurant what they have for their Denni Menu, and you will never know unless you ask!

Exploring Old Town Prague

After lunch, we checked out Prague's Old Town Hall and the world's oldest functioning astronomical clock. We then walked around the busy and touristy Old Town Prague area. Within this area you will be able to see many of Pragues main attractions. A few things that you will have to walk outside of the center for is, a beer on the river, and some beer gardens located on the outskirts of the city in the hills!

Dinner at a Hot Dog Stand

For dinner, we went to a little hot dog stand and got two plain hot dogs for just 78 koruna. They were basic but good!

We made our way to Letna Beer Garden, which is known for having some of the cheapest beers in the city. The view from here is absolutely phenomenal and one of the best in the city. We spent 98 koruna on two glasses of beer and had to pay a 100 koruna deposit on the cups, which we got back upon returning the cups!

Final Thoughts

After a beautiful sunset, were still under budget, but decided to grab another hot dog on the way back! All in all, we had a great day in Prague on a tight budget. We hope this post gives you some ideas for how to make the most of your travel experience while keeping your costs low.
