Gibraltar FULL GUIDE
So… for those who haven’t read my Andalucía blog, here’s a quick backstory. My boyfriend and I visited Zoo de Castellar before heading to Gibraltar (guide at the end), and we arrived pretty late—around 4 PM (16:00).
We found super cheap parking, just 10 minutes from the Gibraltar border—only €3 for the whole day! 🚗💸 (Google Maps link below). From there, it’s a 10-15 minute walk to the border, depending on whether you take the coastal route or go straight into Gibraltar.
🚨 Important: At the border, you must have a passport! Not an ID—a passport!
Once you cross, you’ll walk across Gibraltar’s airport runway—yes, you read that right! ✈️ Literally right after passport control, there’s a tourist information counter where you can grab a map of the buses and get all the directions you need.
🚌 Bus 2 is the most popular route because it goes straight to Europa Point (where you can see Africa 🌍) and is also close to the starting point of the Mediterranean Steps hike.
For more advice and details, read this blog hehe! 😆
