One of the coziest cafés in Vinohrady neighborhood with amazing interior design and even more amazing pastries. My favorite lunch and coffee spot whenever I'm feeling like eating something healthy. 🥗 I also can't leave without grabbing some coffee beans for home brewing, because Candy Cane roastery is a local business that I love to support. I recommend making a reservation if you want to visit because this place is always buzzing with people who just can't get enough of this wonderful café. Somewhat digital nomad friendly—it's a very busy space. I did try working there a few times, but after a while, I felt like I'm holding up space. I always see someone working there, but I just prefer less busy places for work where I can hide away a bit more.

Můj šálek kávy
@lenkasilhanova
Popular Karlín café with amazing food and delicious pastries. Whether you are hunting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place is always busy and for a good reason. It's one of the Double Shot roastery cafés and the locals know that's a guarantee of quality. ☕️⭐️ Not digital nomad friendly. While you'll occasionally see people working there, it's a place in high demand so you might feel like you are overstaying your welcome if you've been blocking a table for a few hours while sipping on a now-cold cuppa. At least that's how I feel at busy places.

VNITROBLOCK

Not your ordinary café, but a fabulous community space with many events, pop-up shops, art galleries, food trucks, a library, and much more. If you want to get to know the artistic part of Prague, you can't miss this place even though it's not in the center. Just hop on the red metro 🚇 line (C), get off at Vltavská station, and either walk or take a tram 🚃 to the stop called Tusarova and you are nearly there.  Digital nomad friendly as it's one of those places where you can sit for many hours and work undisturbed. It may be busy if there is an event happening, so maybe check on their website or socials if you want to avoid that.

Cafe Letka
@lenkasilhanova
If you have a soft spot for hipster cafés with busted chairs, revealed brick walls, and creativity breathing from every corner, you'll love this spot. It's a theater café, so once you are done with your cuppa you can finish your afternoon by watching a play. 🎭 Digital nomad friendly, but can get quite busy. The chairs are not comfortable enough to sit there for a long time. Despite that many Letná dwellers come there to get work done.

Mezi Srnky Smíchov
@lenkasilhanova
Are you near the Dancing House and feel like grabbing something to eat? This place has meals you'll dream about for quite a while. And they serve Candy Cane and Fathers coffee, so add that to your dream list. 😍 Just venture across the river, enjoy your stay, and then go for a walk in the Kinsky Gardens and visit the Petřín Tower. It can be an ok place for digital nomads if you catch the off-peak hours.

Mezi Srnky

Popular café in the Vinohrady neighborhood. Digital nomads may find the Vinohrady one a better place to work as the Smíchov location is often buzzing with people given its proximity to the Dancing House and Kinsky Gardens. It's a perfect place to come for lunch and stick around to get some work done while sipping on your coffee.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
📍I'm a Prague local and have lived in this beautiful city on and off for the past 18 years. ❤️ As I have shown this city to many friends from various countries, I realized their social media-sourced information about Prague was pretty terrible and full of tourist traps. 😅 That is why I'm dedicating my work here on Thatch to give all travelers a better experience of the city of a thousand spires and I share tips that only the locals know. Experience the city in a more authentic way and you'll see a completely different side of Prague! 😍 I'm a remote content marketer, avid runner, and a foodie with a passion for specialty coffee. When I'm not working, I love staying active – running, hiking, yoga, workouts – and I often escape the city to nature.
