Piazzale Michelangelo

Duomo do Firenze

Florence Cathedral offers a stunning view. After seeing all other angles of the iconic Duomo do Firenze, the view from the dome is the last must-do!

The only way to see the inside of the dome up close and enjoy the extraordinary view of Florence it offers is to climb its 463 steps (there is no lift). But the climb will 100% be worth it.

If you suffer from a fear of heights or dark, narrow spaces, then a climb up to the dome might not be for you.

Campanile (Giotto’s Bell Tower)

Giotto's Bell Tower is a free-standing part of the Duomo complex that offers stunning views of the city. You have to climb 414 steps, but you are rewarded with views similar to climbing Duomo do Firenze, but with a view OF Duomo do Firenze on top!

Arnolfo Tower at Palazzo Vecchio

Possibly a tie with Piazzale Michelangelo on the best view in Florence. The views are absolutely stunning.

The tower is with no doubt one of the symbols of the town: it towers on the other buildings, with its 95 meters of height.

Inside the tower, its 233 steps to get to the top.

This garden right below Piazzale Michelangelo is free to visit, not crowded and offers beautiful views. It’s small and super adorable!
