Arrive in Tamarindo: If you will be spending most of your time in Tamarindo, I strongly advise you fly into Liberia Guanacaste Airport, as it is only an hour drive to Tamarindo Beach. Most of the taxis outside the airport know about all Tamarindo accommodations, just be sure to set a taxi price with them beforehand, so they don't overcharge upon arrival. You can also pre-book private transportation for an affordable cost, and have drivers waiting for you upon arrival.
