Cappuccino - espresso with steamed milk

Macchiato - espresso with a dollop of foam

Americano - espresso with hot water

**Iced coffee is not a thing in Italy! Even drinks that are meant to be cold typically are not served with ice. For the sake of joining the locals, go with a hot espresso drink like one of the above- trust me they are delicious and get the caffeinated job done**

Sweet

Cornetti - croissants filled with either crema, jam like apricot, nutella or pistacchio cream. Or plain.

Bombolone - donuts stuffed with crema or nutella and dusted with granulated sugar

Maritozzi - brioche bread that is sliced in half and stuffed with fresh whipped cream

Savory

Tramezzini - sandwiches on triangular white bread stuffed with a variety of different ingredients from egg to ham to vegetables. You can ask for it to be toasted if you would like.
