1. Kaffemisjonen
Best Coffee in town! They also sell a good selection of coffee beans, as well as something small to eat. You may also contact them if you want to take a barista course. I joined a 3 hours espresso and milk steaming course, which was very good! The baristas are among the best in Norway, and have won several prices. 👌🏾 Chill atmosphere if you want to get some work done as well. The cafe is located very close to the famous Bryggen.

2. Det Lille Kaffekompaniet
Probably the cutest coffee place in Bergen. They also have very good warm chocolate, and a warm apple drink with cream. Usually they have something small to eat (carrot cake, apple cake, cinnamon rolls etc.). You can enjoy your coffee outside as well, and the location is perfect if you want to grab a coffee on your way up or down from Fløyen. They also sell a good selection of coffee. The place is quite small, so not the best place to study, but definitely worth a visit!
3. Blom
This cafe is the same chain as Kaffemisjonen. The coffee is excellent, and they also have some student prices. The cafe offers something small to eat, and has a nice atmosphere to do some work. They also have a small terrace, if the weather allows you to sit outside. You may also buy coffee beans to bring home, from a great selection.
4. Bergen Kaffebrenneri
This cafe offers great coffee, and offers a small selection of something to eat. Even though the tables are quite small, there is absolutely possible to get some work done. You may also sit outside if the weather is good. It is also possible to buy coffee beans, or small coffee accessories.
5. Fjåk
This place offers great coffee, as well as amazing hot chocolate. You may buy something small to eat (only sweet stuff though), but you can buy a sandwich or so from another place and bring it to the cafe. The place is located in a nice area with lots of different bars and restaurants.
6. BOD24
This place is located a bit away from the city centre, but has a gorgeous location next to the sea. The place has lovely coffee and food, and the possibility to go for a swim or borrow a kayak for free (if you pick up trash from the water). I really recommend going here, especially if the weather is good ☀️
7. Colonialen Brasseriet - Litteraturhuset
Great coffee, especially after a nice lunch or dinner. This place has lots of tasty food and wine as well. Located in the same area as Fjåk, close to other places to eat and drink. Very nice atmosphere!
8. Landmark
This place is located next to a gallery, and has nice coffee and food. You also have a nice view over the Lille Lungegårdsvann, and during spring/summer some beautiful flowers. Definitely worth a visit, especilly if you want to eat something, visit the art gallery or just go for a walk around the charming Lille Lungegårdsvann.
9. Godt Brød Universitetsplassen
This place is located in a beautiful building (The University Museum of Bergen), with a lovely garden. The coffee is not the best in town, but not bad at all. they also have sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, cookies etc. Also, a great place to study or get some work done. If you want to grab a coffee and go for a walk in Nygårdsparken (largest park in Bergen), this is a great choice.
10. Løvetann
This charming place is on your way to Nordnes. Perfect place to grab a tasty coffee, or something sweet or sour to eat! You may also sit outside if the weather is good.
