Koh Samui is my favorite spot in Thailand.

Where to Stay

Chill Inn Hostel & Beach Cafe
@TheTravelTaurus
This is where we stayed in Koh Samui. It was really nice. The owner was really cool, he was in the process of renovating it. It's located right on the beach, and it's about $10/night. I literally pulled the curtain back from my bed and I could see the beach. It was decorated really cute, with kind of a retro vibe on the inside, and nice views outside. It has a restaurant and a bar serving food and alcohol. The only downside is that it isn't really close to anything if you're walking. If you're riding a motorbike (which I don't), you'll be fine. I did a lot of work here, and the wifi was good.

Baan Chaweng

I did a collab with this hotel. You can check out my TikToks in the link to check them out and to see more of the hotel. We had a beachfront villa and it was nice. I was able to get out of bed, walk outside, and just walk right to the beach.

Lub d Koh Samui Chaweng Beach
@TheTravelTaurus
This is literally the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. It's kind of like a resort. They have a swim up bar and a restaurant, and an infinity pool right on the beach. It's pretty new. I think the first time I stayed here, they'd only been open for a couple of months, and that was in 2019. I would recommend staying here for sure.

Beachfront Bungalow Airbnb
@TheTravelTaurus
This place is $49/night. It's really nice and it's located right on the beach. The same host has another property right next door to this one that is $24/night. I definitely recommend this place. The host was so sweet.

COCO TAM'S
@TheTravelTaurus
I didn't go here, but multiple people have told me about this place, including someone I know who made an entire Youtube Video about it. It's a really popular place to eat. They have a fire show every night on the beach, and apparently it gets really packed. It sounded like a good recommendation.

The food here was really good. It had a cute vibe, and was right on the water. Kind of Instagram vibes, and it was right by the Airbnb we stayed at.
