Zoey's Travel Stories
There are so many places in Jerusalem that have amazing foods and drinks that it was always a competition which place is best. Therefore I have created a map of all my favorites to go to with friends and family. And if you go to the places I suggested please let me know what you think, and you can join the contest!

Before I start, there are a lot of areas filled with food of any kind. You will notice that pins are separated in 3 to four main areas. There are two main areas that i would like to address.

The First Station
@ZoeyAvellisse24
The First Train Station is a place filled with restaurants and cafes and from time to time there is an event like wine tasting and a local football scene. Check the First Train Station website for upcoming events and updates.

Machaneh Yehudah Market
@ZoeyAvellisse24
Machaneh Yehuda is a big marketplace filled with fruits and vegetables, jewelry of all styles, clothes, sweets, and middle eastern food. At night many bars, open up and sometimes dancing happens with lots of laughter. Just know if you go on Thursday and Friday morning expect a lot of people.

Restaurants

Whether you want meat or opposite, if you want more Italian food or Chinese, you have it in Jerusalem.

@ZoeyAvellisse24
Also a good falafel and shawarma place right at the heart of the center of the city for a cheap price.

סאם בייגל'ס יפו - sam's bagels
@ZoeyAvellisse24
If you are looking for something not too heavy to eat then this is the place. There are many bagels with different toppings, (and there are also no-gluten bagels) and you can choose any spreading you would like, and if you don't finish you can take it with you in takeaway and eat it later.

Hachapuria | חצ'אפוריה שוק מחנה יהודה 🥪
@ZoeyAvellisse24
A Hachapuri is a special kind of food, that is a pita dough filled with either just melting cheese, or with egg and cheese (which is my personal favorite).

מנה וחצי
@ZoeyAvellisse24
This is my personal favorite shawarma place in Jerusalem. If you decide to go there, I must warn you that it can be a bit spicy for those who don't like spicy food.

Bars

For bars there are many that are at the center of the city but I have added more secluded bars that you can enjoy your time.

Bar Zabotinski
@ZoeyAvellisse24
The center of the city is always filled with people with many bars. This is one of the most common bars me and my friends go to on a Thursday evening.

On Budget

If you are on budget there are still great places to go to that are scattered around Jerusalem, But I will show examples that are in the center of the city.

For Coffee, a sandwich or salad there is Aroma, which is like the Israeli Starbucks.

Aroma Espresso Bar ארומה אספרסו בר
@ZoeyAvellisse24
Just like Starbucks, it's a quick place for coffee that is popular all over Israel. They have also very refreshing grounded ice lemonade.

Mcdonald's is also an example if you are on a budget. Plus there is Dominos Pizza and Pizza Hut that also fit the budget line.
