A Foodie's Brunch Guide to Auckland

A Foodie's Brunch Guide to Auckland

Brunch is a staple weekend meal in Auckland, Aotearoa. I've traveled around, and no one does a good brunch like us. I hope you enjoy my recommendations as much as I did!

Ozone Coffee Roasters
@nadinelake
Very little places that make delectable coffee can match it with incredible food delights - but ozone does it! Not only an aesthetically pleasing place with lovely staff, they also have banging meals (my favourite being the mushrooms on toast - one meal that too frequently appears in my dreams). The café roasts the beans right there and sells them on-site for a bougie souvenir. They also are very sustainable and dog friendly 🐶 which is always a delight and essential for me! Enjoy a coffee (or a few) for me 🩷

Fort Greene
@nadinelake
Whether you're in the mood for a proper breakfast or just a little snack - fort Greene has you covered. They offer gorgeously strong coffee for those dusty mornings. Pair that with their cinnamon-y sweet cruffin and you're in for a good day. Other highlights (if I am wanting something savoury) are their scrambled eggs, and 'infamously kiwi' fish sammie! Located on the exciting and trendy Karangahape Rd, you will surely be in for interesting people watching whilst sipping, and some cool thrift shopping after you've been rejuvenated 🤌

Williams Eatery

This place has beautifully curated food and definitely isn't your stock standard menu. They take everything a stretch further with incredible brunch pairings you won't see else where. My personal favourite Fried eggs with salsa Macha, honey roasted butternut and smoked feta - an absolute delight. Not to mention the staff are lovely and they serve up one of my favorites supreme coffee. Outdoor seating is avaliable if you bring along your furry friends 🐶 After indulging yourself you could enjoy a casual stroll around the viaduct and silo park ☀️

Bestie Cafe

Fun - funky - views Such a cool little cafe with amazing vibes. It doesn't stop there the food and coffee is top notch, with a seasonal menu you can indulge in a big meal or chose a wee treat from the cabinet. Located in the historic and stunning Kevin's arcade off Karangahape Rd, you are sure to enjoy and unwind ⭐️

Hare and the Turtle.
@nadinelake
Tucked away in the little suburb of New Windsor, this unassuming gem doesn't need a prime location to shine. Definetely worth your visit, it provides a good quality brunch and treat without losing an arm and a leg. Quirky and fun vibes also add to the ambience of this place My regular order is a maple iced latte, Boomer sandwich (w/ cheese and hashbrown) and of course the infamous cinnamon roll. Another fan favourite if I am wanting to spice things up is the eggplant parm sandwich! Some outdoor seating avaliable for furry whānau 🐾 Trust me on this one, you will adore it 🥰
