Entering the Country
Mandatory K-ETA (Korean Electronic Travel Authorisation) or Valid Visa
You'll need to apply for a K-ETA at least 72 hours before boarding a flight or ship to South Korea (view the link below to apply) or a visa to visit Korea. The K-ETA process will take around 72 hours and the result will be sent to your email address directly.
IMPORTANT
1)You do not need a K-ETA if you have a valid visa to enter Korea.
2) From 01 April 2023 to 31 December 2024, K-ETA or a visa will be temporarily exempt for passport holders from 22 countries. These include the following countries Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, US (including Guam)
