So recently our fav choice Croque Madame got the alternative: Croque De Voialle Madame with chicken and sun dried tomatoes 👌 and if you’re more of a traditional breakfast lover you should try their poached eggs variations or delicious bagels 🤩

Kavarna Rog

Great brunch options, from healthy sandwiches, Croque Madame, omelettes and my favorite tuna toast in Ljubljana to yoghurt bowls and pancakes, Rog has it all. It can get quite busy on sunny weekend days but worth the little wait. And they have nice lunch menu too. Summer time - try their home made ice cream and some desserts too.

Quite new hot Ljubljana spot that ticks all the boxes for weekday or long weekend brunches. The interior is super adorable, especially when it’s sunny. The Eggs Royale are delicious, with perfectly poached eggs on a super soft and slightly sweet brioche bun with just the right amount of salmon and avocado 🥑 You really can’t go wrong with this one. 🍳 Mimosas, matcha lattes, and coffee all get a thumbs up from us as well. Did I mention the pancakes? 🥞 Fluffy and sweet but we had to share them since we were so full already.

Breakfast before Rožnik walk or after it? Well when it’s raining it’s probably best to just go directly there 😅 (since they offer parking too) We’re sure your day will start better if you open it with croissants, eggs or fresh fruits. Bistro Čad (as part of the hotel) is offering quite nice selection of breakfast foods and drinks. Did someone mentioned mimosa?

Fresh and delicious sourdough bread, quiches and croissants 🥐 The most Slovenian-like one is known as “potica” with walnuts and raisins. So delicious 😋Especially if you catch it still warm (and this can happen many times since they’re baking it fresh through the day). They have few seats so you can eat your pastry, order some coffee and just enjoy the day 🥰 or maybe try their cruffins or pain au chocolate? 🎉 You won’t miss with any 😄
