Headquarters for the Marathon is in Monterey, 120 miles south of San Francisco, 320 miles north of Los Angeles.

You can fly directly into Monterey Airport, only five minutes from downtown Monterey.

Other airport options include San Jose, (70 miles away), San Francisco and Oakland (110 miles).

Transportation

By Car: Renting a car is the easiest way to navigate the area. Be prepared for winding roads and limited cell service.

Shuttles: On race day, take advantage of the marathon’s shuttle service, which departs from designated pick-up locations and drops you off at the start line.

Parking: Limited parking is available at the shuttle pick-up points. Arrive early to secure a spot.
