I’m Eva, a startup founder and long-time Greenpoint resident with a knack for knowing where to go—trying to keep up with my Cartographer sixth great-grandfather, Bernardo De Miera y Pacheco, who famously mapped the American Southwest, I guess. In a past life and off hours, I ran a travel blog, edited Scoutmob LA, and spent 15 years writing about culture, design, and travel. Now, I’m the founder of maude, a modern intimacy brand featured everywhere from Sephora to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in the Louvre, with nods from Vogue, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times. When I’m not running maude, you’ll find me sailing on a 1978 boat, hunting for rare design books, or giving travel advice—both solicited and unsolicited.
