Weather
I visited Guatemala for a week in December and then a month in July. Both times I visited, it was relatively warm with some chilly days. I recommend packing layers and a raincoat.
"In Guatemala, a Central American country extended from 13 to 18 degrees north latitude, there is a tropical climate, hot all year round in the lowlands, while in mountainous areas, it becomes cooler with increasing altitude.
In almost all of Guatemala, there is a dry season from late November to mid-April, when the northeast trade winds blow, and a rainy season from May to October."
