South Beach Travel Guide

So you want to experience South Beach? As a Floridian I've made this guide to give you the inside scoop on the places that are worth the $.  Miami is pricey so remember that you're not going to avoid spending but if you want to spend at the right spots then there is a lot you should know.

So what even is South Beach?

South Beach is a neighborhood of Miami Beach known for its elaborate shopping, hotels, and food.  Miami Beach is an island and South Beach is at... the south end... gave you a jump scare there. 

Surprisingly you can actually find some amazing stays at some pretty great prices. The food pricing is what's likely to catch you off guard.  If you're looking to stay in a beautiful hotel, hit the beach, check out some hidden gems like the world-class shopping, historic architecture, and hidden speakeasy bars THIS is the place for you.

I recommend booking a hotel close to Ocean Dr so that you are within walking distance to all of your adventures.  On weekends you will need a reservation for a table at most dinner spots and I also recommend booking brunch ahead of time.
