Explore the lagoon

Your time in Bora Bora is definitely the occasion to explore the sealife of the one of the world's most beautiful lagoons! Indeed, you'll find some preserved ocean spots where you can explore incredible coral gardens that you can get the chance to explore on your own or with specialized tour companies such as Moana Adventure or Tohona Bora Bora.

You'll also probably have the very nice surprise of observing some marine animals along your excursion as the lagoon allows for various species to be visible: blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, rays, lemon sharks and even dolphins . If you're lucky enough and find yourself here at the right season you could also cross paths with whales!

Most of the lagoon exploration companies offer full day or half day excursions with a typical lunch on a "Motu" (islets).
