How to Get to Yosemite
✈️ Airport: Fresno (FAT) is the closest airport to Yosemite Valley. Alternatively, fly into San Francisco (SFO), rent a car, and drive about 4 hours to get into the Valley.
🚗 Transport: Yosemite is accessible by car or by public transport via YARTS:
🚌 Shuttle: Once in the valley, avoid parking mayhem by riding the free shuttle. The shuttle stops all around Yosemite Valley, including lodges, food service, campgrounds, and trailheads. Buses arrive every 12 to 22 minutes from 7 am to 10 pm. Check the NPS website for any potential closures (e.g. the shuttle may not run in winter).
