This time I am going to write about the best places I have tried in Milan but, since there are too many, don't take it as an exhaustive list ( I had to exclude some very good places) but do expect another post on Milan soon.
FISH
Shannara 3
@giuliamartini
This is a "high-level" restaurant (as I like to call them) right in Porta Romana . Very well known for its nice location, great service and amazing fresh food selection. I tried the selection of Fish Tartare and then shared the grilled fish as my main dish. I highly recommend it if you need to impress someone and worth trying at least once :)

SUSHI
Magnaki Arena
@giuliamartini
This is a MUST TRY, UNCONVENTIONAL sushi restaurant. And before you ask, it is not all you can eat :( but it worth trying. You will not regret it.
It is an atypical experience, with meat-sushi options out of the ordinary: you will find zebra, horse and buffalo meat as possible options and I must say the result and the mix of ingredients is amazing <3
I tried the Carbonara Gunkan, zebra & avocado-lime cream Gunkan & horse meat, honey and crispy onion Gunkan. Then I moved on to 4 Tartares: zebra with yoghurt sauce, beef with fried avocado, burrata and caramelized onion, horse meat with Grana cheese and & lime and finally reindeer with cheese and blueberry sauce.

Igiban
@giuliamartini
I have tried this place as an aperitivo spot but I would definitely come back to try out their dinner option. Price is super competitive and they offer you a good selection of cocktails to choose from :)

Umi Sushi
@giuliamartini
This is most likely the first restaurant I have tried when I moved to Milan ( because sushi is always a good idea) and it holds a special place in my heart.
I have tried many different all you can eat sushi restaurants and I can state that this is one of the best when it comes to choices, freshness, quality and service. A big plus to the location which is also extremely fancy

EASY
All'Antico Vinaio
@giuliamartini
This place needs no introduction. Everybody knows about it and I don't even have to show you a picture to prove the quality of the food you will get here.
What I can give you are two simple advice:
1. Try an go around Aperitivo time or later in the night so you won't have to wait in line and you can enjoy some fun time while they prepare your food
2. Try the famous " Tricolore" (that's what I had) with beef carpaccio, stracciatella, pistachio cream and nuts

Hygge
@giuliamartini
If you are looking for a cozy, hyggie and Nordic-inspired place to share a Sunday Brunch with your friends, This is the place for you. They have different set menus and you can choose to add some extras as well. Add your favorite drink and you are good to order.
Food is amazing and the atmosphere is super welcoming with long tables were you will most likely be sitting with other people you don't know.

Avo Brothers - Cinque Giornate
@giuliamartini
This is another Brunch / Lunch (I would say all day) spot where you will find everything Avocado and some other famous brunch options ( acai bowls, eggs, pancakes...)
I loved it! It offers every single brunch option that I am in love with. I had to try out the avocado toast and the acai bowl and they both amazing :)
