Today after breakfast walk easily back down to the Termini Train Station to catch your train to Florence. It is a quick train ride (under 2 hours) to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. The trains in Italy are efficient and prompt.

visit the Central Market in Florence to find a bite to eat and check-out this gourmet food hall. Along the way, you will pass through the famous streets of leather goods in Florence where you can find some authentic leather products to take home with you.

make sure to stop by The Baptistery of St. John and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (aka The Duomo).

The trains run very frequently, especially during the summer season, and local trains stop at all the stations in the Cinque Terre: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare. The Cinque Terre National Park, with its 3,868 hectares, is one of the smallest National Parks in Italy and at the same time the most densely populated, with approximately 4,000 inhabitants divided into five villages : Riomaggiore , Manarola , Corniglia , Vernazza and Monterosso al Mar. Here, over a thousand years, man has "modified" the natural environment by cutting up the steep slopes of the hills to obtain strips of cultivable land, the so-called ciàn, supported by kilometers of dry stone walls. This is the true identifying feature of the Cinque Terre, with an atypical and highly anthropized landscape: this is why it is the Park of Man , a territory that has become a World Heritage Site .
