People often have mixed feelings about Vegas but I believe if you just lean into for what it is you will end up having a good time no matter what!
Here is what to do, see & eat in Las Vegas!
Be sure to check out my other guides & tip if you found this guide useful! Enjoy!
Transportation
The Strip is walkable but Ubers are available if going off the strip. No need to rent a car if you are just staying in Vegas.
There is also a 24 hour bus called “Duece” that runs on the strip. An all day pass is $8. Download the rideRTC app.
For something more luxurious hire “Blacklane” for your transportation needs.
When to go?
Las Vegas is great to visit any time of year but I would avoid it during the summer as it can reach into the hundreds.
Where to Stay
I would recommend staying on the strip for your first time to Vegas! This way your are close to all attractions & restaurants. I stayed at the Bellagio which was fantastic! For my next visit, I would love to stay at the Wynn.
Hi! I’m Emily & I am a certified travel adviser based in the Pacific Northwest!
My sister (my traveling buddy) and I love to travel to destinations that have an amazing local food scene, proximity to the outdoors and have a strong sense of culture & design. We like to travel with a balance between luxury & budget! We have been traveling together for six years and I spend hours researching our destinations to find unique places & things to do but also keeping in the classics.
Here on Thatch, I create super detailed guides and itineraries to destinations that we have personally visited or plan on visiting. These destinations have everything we love about travel! Among tips and tricks for each destination I also always include the best spots for coffee, local shopping & the best boutique hotels to stay!
