Long lake park in the center of Lugano, it is beautiful on a sunny day as you can rest on a bench and enjoy the view or take a stroll around.

Sentiero di Gandria
@alexandrameier
A must do in Lugano! You can either take the ferry from Paradiso to Gandria and walk on the way back to the city center or the way around. The walk is along the lake and you can admire the view and stop in some typical "grotto" along the way for local lunch.

Via Nassa
@alexandrameier
This street is where main shops are located that leads to the city center. Ps if you are looking for some amazing chocolate, don't forget to stop at Läderach as for locals is the best of all!

Carona
@alexandrameier
You have some extra time and prefer to enjoy the view from above, then head to Carona, a small but very suggestive town on top of the mountain that is very peaceful and it is a place where you can go for a walk in the woods.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Alexandra M
Welcome to my world of wanderlust and exploration! I'm Alexandra, an intrepid traveler, passionate adventurer, and sailing enthusiast. My life's purpose is to uncover the hidden gems of our beautiful planet, experience diverse cultures, and share the exhilarating stories of my travels with you. One of my core principles is to travel like a local. I believe in immersing myself in the heart and soul of the places I visit. From sharing meals with families in remote villages to learning traditional customs and languages, I've discovered that the most enriching experiences come from genuine interactions with local communities. Sailing is not just a hobby; it's a way of life for me. The freedom of the open sea, the gentle rhythm of the waves, and the thrill of charting new courses have become integral parts of my journey. Whether navigating a vessel along coastal paradises or joining daring expeditions to distant islands, the call of the sea is an endless adventure.
