Brighton pub crawl
Tip!
You could easily make this into a scavenger hunt by adding questions, activities or dares for each stop. Reach out if you'd like my help planning a fully personalised day/evening out in Brighton!
Stop 1 – The Prince Albert
If you've got people coming to Brighton by train, the Prince Albert is a perfect first stop. It's not fancy and they don't serve food but it has an eclectic feel and it's massive so you're sure to find space to down a pint no matter what.
Stop 2 – The Pond – Under 5 min walk
A modern, small and cozy pub serving mostly local IPAs. They do offer some small bites to eat and their loaded fries are always a good shout if you're feeling peckish.
Stop 3 – White Rabbitt – Under 5 min walk
With its eclectic and fun interior this makes for a great pub crawl stop in the Lanes. Skip this one if you're on the 4-pub track, or are in a rush!
Stop 4 – Hope & Ruin – 5-10 min walk
Head up to Queens road for a stop at the Hope & Ruin. Decorated year round with lights and garlands there's a lot to look at and there's always music and good vibes.
Stop 5 – Twisted Lemon – 5 min walk
Time to mix it up with a cocktail? Or just curious about what the yellow door in this tiny alley is all about? Check out the Twisted Lemon cocktail bar.
Another one to skip if you want to limit your journey to a more sensible 4 stops. Or one to come back to another time!
Stop 6 - The Cricketers – Under 5 min walk
A traditional pub look with velvet seating and drapes, the Cricketers was established in the 1500s and is open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Bonus!Black Lion, Mesmerist and Bohemia
When you're in the area of the Cricketers, two other great options where you can usually find music playing and a bit of a dance floor kicking up is the Black Lion, the Mesmerist and Bohemia. They also have beer garden or roof terrace spaces to enjoy in the summer.
