Church

Jaro Cathedral (Iloilo's Bibingka)
@taralets_
One of the nearest cathedrals to Iloilo City is Jaro Cathedral. Preserved and rebuilt, always ready to serve the people. Near the cathedral, across Jaro Savemore, is a quaint store selling Iloilo's own rendition of a Philippine favorite: bibingka. Small round rice cakes with shredded coconut at the bottom toasted to perfection. Easier to spot during the weekends as these are sold right in front of churches.

Kuliatan Marine Sanctuary
@taralets_
An hours drive from the city is a sanctuary that's taken cared of by the closest university, UP Visayas. Bringing corals back to life and attracting marine life, definitely a diamond in the rough.
