About Sardinia 🐠

Yes it’s probably the crystal clear waters here that are calling you. And they are one of Sardinias major attractions. Once you swim here, no where else will ever be the same.

The water is so clean you’ll be surrounded by little fish, and it’s a great place to snorkel.

But that’s not all Sardinia is about. People (and early evolutions of them!) have been inhabiting this island since for over 5000 years. The earliest trace of a prehistoric primate in the island dates back to 8.5 million years ago.

And traces of these cultures still exist with the impressive Nuragi structures!

Throughout the millennia, the Sardinian people relied more on the land than on the sea. Experiences shepherds they were known for roaming the inner areas of the island. While outside cultures who conquered the island (Romans, Genovese, Spanish etc) all stuck to the coasts.
