Craving for beaches and a few small towns around them? Here's your itinerary for a short road trip (2-3 days) to Costa Brava. All spots have been checked thoroughly and we highly recommend all of them :)

Costa Brava beach trip for a (long) weekend

Starting this road trip with the first stop - a beautiful beach. If you come from Barcelona, it will take approximately 1.5 hours to get there.

After some time at the beach, it's time for the charming city of Peratallada.

After that - time for the check-in. We can highly recommend Empordà Golf Resort wether you play golf or not! It's a very peaceful, beautiful designed hotel with great views and a perfect location for this suggested road trip. The hotel also offers a delicious daily menu in case you want to dine there.

Want to get active and enjoy a perfect sun downer? The Montgrí Castle can be hiked in 45-60 minutes and offers amazing views over the country side.

You can start your second day at this beautiful monastery - and earn your beach time with a small hike!

Speaking of beach time - another day, another beach. The beautiful beach of Cadaqués has a bit of a different touch given its a very nice "city" beach.

Not done with the beaches? There's two more we can highly recommend - Aigua Blava is especially recommend in off season as it can get quite crowded.

After the time at the beach, Begur is a great city with its castle and beautiful streets.

All good things come to an end.. on your way back (if you come from Barcelona) you can stop by at this amazing Botanic garden, enjoy the views and plans before heading back to Barcelona.
