Day 1 - Florence
Touch down in Pisa airport. Catch the Pisamover shuttle to Pisa Centrale train station, where you can board the train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella. If your flight time allows, you can even pop to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa before you make your way to Florence.
Once you have arrived in the beautiful city of Florence check in to your apartment. I highly recommend staying in an apartment located centrally in Piazza-Strozzi, with wine bars and pasta restaurants right on your door step.
Piazza Strozzi
@avnistravels
The perfect central, yet quiet, location to stay when in Florence. A vast range of enotecas (wine bars) and restaurants of all varieties.

Having settled into your accommodation, it's time to head out to explore the magical streets of Florence. Wander across the Ponte Vecchio and window shop the many jewelry and leather stores. Have a pit stop at one of the city's many enotecas, such as Signorvino where you can try a range of wines from the local region of Tuscany, sitting along the River Arno.
Ponte Vecchio
@avnistravels
An iconic bridge where many people gather to listen to live music from buskers, browse jewelry shops and watch the River Arno.

With the help of the staff, select your wine from Tuscany and across the rest of Italy. Even grab some nibbles and watch the River Arno go by in their outdoor seating area.

It's time for a traditional Tuscan dinner now at La Osteria Cinghiale Bianco, a restaurant infamous for its parpadelle al ragú di cinghiale (wild boar ragu parpadelle pasta). This one is even recommended by Stanley Tucci himself. Pair your pasta with some local house red and finish with a tiramisu to share. If you want to, head to Enoteca Strozzi to finish your night with a wine, digestif or spritz.
