The Best Cocktail Bars in Barcelona
Sips Barcelona
This bar opened in 2021 but in 2023 it's already selected as the best bar in the world by World's Best 50. They don't have a main bar, which breaks the tradition, and expect a queue to get inside.
La Confiteria
This old, incredible unique bar will give you chills! I love the interiors but it's nice to sit outside on the street in summer too.
Bar Paradiso
This bar is one of the top 50 bars in the world. It is a speakeasy bar, you enter through a pastrami shop's fridge door and there is actually a speakeasy room inside this speakeasy bar - you will have to ask for it!
Numero Nueve
In spring and in summer, El Born gets very busy, and this is one of the key bars to meet people. If you are looking for a good vibe, you can try this place.
Two Schmucks
El Raval's Joaquin Costa street is full of bars and the vibes are high at night. Two schmucks is probably one of the most famous bar on that street. They have a new bar now too, try Lucky Schmucks for some karaoke time and dance!
Boca Chica
Boca Grande is one of the most famous fancy restaurants of Barcelona, however I think the food is a bit overrated. However, if you are looking for a nice, elegant bar in Barcelona, you can try this restaurant's bar, Boca Chica. Don't forget to go downstairs to the toilets - you may come across a DJ playing there!
Bobby's Free
It may look like a barber's shop from outside but this is actually a speakeasy bar. If you manage to get the password (check the website!) you are in for a surprise!

Super typical, Catalan restaurant and bar in El Raval.
Farola
This is definitely one of my favourite bars in El Born, even in Barcelona. Sometimes they have a DJ too and you might find yourself dancing! Try their espresso martini.
Dr. Stravinsky
If you cannot enter Paradiso or Sips, you can try this bar. This also used to be one of the best 50 bars of Barcelona.
Creps al Born
One of the key bars in El Born, in this tiny bar you will have a lot of fun.
14 de la Rosa
One of my favourite elegant bars in Gracia. This place doesn't accept groups, so it's perfect for a date.
