Lima: 3 days
Tip: before your flight to Lima, call your hotel and have them send a taxi to pick you up. It makes things super easy at the airport and you don't have to fight for a taxi with everyone else.
While you don't have to speak Spanish to get around Peru, as a lot of people working in the tourism industry speak English, it is useful when trying to get a taxi or find a destination. When in doubt, use a translation app!
You will also need WhatsApp installed on your phone. A lot of companies used this to message us about travel plans and you can also get your taxi driver's card and set up future rides.
What to Do:
As always, our favourite way to explore a city is by just walking around. We spent most of our time in the Miraflores district. We'll break down attractions based on the neighbourhood of Lima that you can find each one, just to make it a little simpler.
Miraflores:
