Noosa Food Scene for Vegetarians
Amy Jonson
Noosa is Australia's golden child, boasting incredible scenery and food for everyone. From street food to fine dining, it's a foodies dream come true. Vegetarians aren't left behind either, with over 40 venues in Noosa offering incredible vegetarian and vegan food. As a vegetarian local, I've put together a list of my go-to places for delicious food.

VanillaFood Organic Cafe
@apostcardfromamy
My number one destination for healthy, tasty and nutritious food. Guys, let me tell you, this is some of the best food I have EVER had, and I am quite the foodie. They have an extensive range of vegan and vegetarian options, my favourite being the avocado on sourdough with turmeric cashew cheese *chefs kiss*. They also have a diverse range of drink options and are one of the few places on the Sunshine Coast that I can source a matcha latte. Their menu changes with the seasons as they use locally sourced and organic produce where possible meaning their food is always healthy and fresh. And if the incredible, mouth-watering food isnt enough, the design and aesthetics of this place is reason enough to visit. They also join on to a beautiful homewares store called Clo, so if you fancy some shopping this is a go-to destination.

Mr Drifter
@apostcardfromamy
If Asian street food and cocktails are your vibe, then you're going to love Mr Drifter. Relax with a fun, chilled-out vibe whilst digging in to some spring rolls, drifter rolls, or yellow curry.

@apostcardfromamy
Serving small plates to share, Light Years offers a mouth-watering choice of dishes for a proper vegan and vegetarian feast. My personal favourites are the eggplant katsu bao buns, cumin spiced fried cauliflower, and turmeric and coconut cauliflower curry.

Bang Bang Noosa
@apostcardfromamy
One of my favourite restaurants in Noosa, Bang Bang has an incredibly diverse menu and stylish decor. Located on Hastings Street, Bang Bang is a must-visit destination when visiting Noosa. Make sure you book in advance to enjoy delicious options such as the salt and pepper tofu, garlic chive miang (a must try!), stir fried mushroom san choy bao, and fragrant yellow curry (my personal fave).
