However, just a short 20 minute ferry ride away lies Gozo—Malta’s quieter, yet equally captivating sister island. Apart from its scenery, Wied il-Ghasri is home to diverse marine life, not the first time I have encountered a starfish here! However, be prepared to climb back up some stairs embedded within the cliffs edges after a refreshing dip! Another personal favourite on my home island.
