Warnings & Things to Know

While Cusco is a lovely place to stay, I want to warn you about a few things you need to know.

1. Especially if you don't speak Spanish, local sellers can try to scam you by selling things way over-priced.

2. Before getting into taxi, ask "Cuanta?" (how much) to your destination, to make sure they don't tell you an overpriced price at the end of the ride.

3. Try to always give precise cash and follow how much they tell you to pay. 

4. My worst experience was at Cusco Rooms, where they tried to scam us, so beware if you are planning to stay there.
