Parque das Nações is an incredible area because it’s so close to everything, places to eat, the mall, has many bus stops & a main train station. It’s also one of the more modern areas in Lisbon.

If you’re looking to get more of the “Lisboa experience”, Bairro Alto is right in the heart of Lisbon. Notoriously known for it’s steep streets & tiles on the outside of homes, you’ll find tons of bars, cafes & restaurants in literally every corner!

One of my favorite parts about this trip, was eating lol. Lisbon is nothing short on restaurants. Everywhere you turn, there’s a restaurnat on site & I loved that for us 🫶🏽

Pan Asian restaurant & soooo delicious we ate here TWICE. Please do yourself a favor & cross this off your list when visiting Lisbon.

I’ve visited a few Timeout Markets in different places in the U.S, so we decided to check it out here since a lot of the locals suggested it. Tons of delicious food options & great bars as well! 

This was a hidden gem all on its owns. After walking up & down a couple streets, we came across this Italian restaurant, always busy & may be tough if you have no reservations, but they were super nice & accomodating, the food was INCREDIBLE & the service was just as amazing ✨

Japanese restaurant located right on the first floor of our Airbnb & we loved it! Everything was so tasty, the meats were incredibly tender & the fish tasted super fresh 

NOW some may argue this & feel free to argue, but the BEST are frooooom 🥁🥁🥁🥁

A classic, flaky, perfectly buttered, warm custard inside, CHEFS KISS!!

Another local favorite. Perfectly baked, same yummy & flaky on the outside, not quite as buttery as I like & the custard is a little thicker. 

Overall, based on your preference, one may win over the other 🥇

Ubers are extremely affordable in Lisbon if that’s something you may be wondering. If you’d like to travel like a local you gotta hop on a metro or tram. Some may say to take the Tram 28, however, it’s oversaturated. Always packed & hard to catch one with any space available to get around. Always these don’t take you to the EXACT stops as the 28; you can get to most places & still visit the “must go to’s” in Lisbon 🫶🏽 

There’s always something to do in Lisbon. Every other weekend they have some sort of festival or event, especially if you go during the summer times when everyone’s on break
