This quiet riverside town is the unsung hero of the Bay of Islands. Swim in the tranquil river that runs through the town, visit the mesmerising Rainbow Falls (Waianiwaniwa), or head to nearby Matauri Bay to camp by the beach and learn the incredible story of Rainbow Warrior.
