The Complete Zaragoza, Spain Travel Guide

Right in the between Madrid and Barcelona Zaragoza is an incredible city, but often gets over looked. The best way to describe Zaragoza is that it's 'un pueblo en grande', meaning that while it is a bigger city in Spain, it maintains that small-town feel. Because you don't often hear about Zaragoza, you'll be surprised with everything that it offers from the friendly people, to the tasty dishes, and its incredible architecture! 🚂Getting to Zaragoza

Zaragaoza is the capital of the Autonomous region of Aragón, in the northwest corner of the Spanish peninsula. It doesn't offer a major airport, although it does offer some international flights. It's probably easier (and cheaper) to fly into Barcelona or Madrid and take one of the many fast trains. From Madrid it's only around an hour and from Barcelona it's about and hour and a half! The main train station in Zaragoza is called, 'Delicias'.

🚉Fortunately with the amazing high-speed trains that Spain offers and the competition between RENFE, Ouigo, and Aryo prices can be extrmeely affordable. You can find tickets for as low as 7€ one-way!

My biggest recommendation is to use OMIO, instead of scrolling around through different company pages and trying to find the best offer for you, Omio combines all the day's offers and ranks them by price and time! (A little tip to help you travel all of Spain)
