Places of Interest: Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, House of Guards, Parliament, The London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, St. James Park, Covent Garden, Downing Street, Whitehall, Golden Jubilee Bridge, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, West End, Soho, Chinatown.
Starting Point: Piccadilly Tube Station
I have chosen this as a starting point as this is easily reachable by Tube (Underground rail system of London) from Heathrow Airport via Piccadilly Line. Travel time from the airport is about 50 minutes to an hour.
Piccadilly Area
From Piccadilly tube station, head towards to the Piccadilly Circus, Eros Statue. This area is known as the Times Square of London with the big LED screen like the ones you can see in Times Square. This is the first tourist sight of the day. It is best to start before 9am to avoid the crowd.
