This will save you the trouble of spending hours doing research to plan your perfect trip (this guide has places I didn’t find on the internet beforehand, but is something I wish I had before that would’ve saved me sooo much time).

Day 1: San José

Once you land in SJO, pick up your rental car and make your way to check into your stay for the night.

URBN Escalante
@solowithsav
We stayed at this modern apartment building during our time in San José. We stayed in an Airbnb that was only $55/ night with sweeping views over the city! It was clean, easy to navigate, and with a great host! Also, great location within walking distance to Barrio Escalante. You will be spending the first 2 nights here.

After you’re settled into your beautiful stay for the night. Go out on the town and explore the nearby area and grab dinner.

Barrio Escalante
@solowithsav
While you’re in San José make sure to check out Barrio Escalante. We stayed in and visited this beautiful neighborhood in downtown San José. While you’re here you have to visit the restaurants Franco for breakfast, Saúl Bistro for lunch, and Apotecario for dinner or brunch.
