A Weekend In Northumberland UK
I would recommend if you want to try some kayaking or coastering to use Adventure Northumberland. The sessions are three hours long and they run morning sessions or afternoon sessions. These guys also hire wetsuits and paddle boards if you don't have your own.
You will be feeling pretty hungary afterwards so I would recommend taking a bite to eat at the Jolly Fisherman Inn if you like seafood otherwise you can check out the treehouse at Alnick Castle.
If you are a Harry Potter or a history fan you must visit Alnick Castle and Gardens. If you prebook in advance you should try out the treehouse restaurant it is amazing.
After this you should head to Seahouses and take a boat trip with Billy Shiels boat trip to the Farnw Islands. These can be booked in advance on the website and the most popular is the puffin tour and grey seals. Sometimes depending on the time of the day and season you can also see dolphins. It is £25pp and definitely worth it. Take your camera
Seal pups during our farne island trip.
If you are camping or have a campervan I would recommend staying at Springhill farm
If you are looking for a hotel or a B and B I would recommend some of these above.
The next day I would advise if your an early riser to catch the sunrise at Bamburgh Castle. If you get a good one it's going to be beautiful 😍
You can choose to explore the coast here or you could head to holy island. Make sure you check the tide times. You could walk around this beautiful little island in a couple of hours.
Make sure you visit the Priory. If you have visited durham cathedral you will know about St Cuthbert and how his body was carried there and laid to rest.
