Chicago
TravelingRosas
I had 36 hours to explore anything and everything you could want!
In this guide I include:
-Cost breakdown (I only spent $150 including flights from Houston, hotel, transportation, activities, food, etc.)
-Transportation (free flights and using the subway)
- Hotel (How I got a $500 hotel for free)
- Millenium Park (check out their summer activities)
- River tour/kayaking
- +more!
This is the perfect weekend getaway as a solo traveler, with friends or a couple trip.
I also include videos for a complete immersive experience.

Transportation
Chicago has 2 airports, Midway and Ohare and for $5 you can take the train downtown
O'Hare International Airport
@TravelingRosas
This is an international airport about 30-45 minutes from the city. If you take the L line to downtown you simply get off on Washington and you're golden.

Midway Airport
@TravelingRosas
Midway is the smaller airport so you're less likely to travel in and out of here but it is closer to downtown Chicago.
