Nice
Nice is easily one of my favorite cities in France, as it's really the hub for the Riviera and the Cote d'Azur. An adorable Old Town, tons of great restaurants, an expansive beach, and easily connected to other great towns up and down the coast, Nice is a perfect home base.

Wow - this place is a GEM! On an adorable, classic old town street lined with tables outside, this was a great spot. Creative dishes, well-presented, and tasty. service was... French. The total for 2 apps, 2 mains, 2 desserts, and a 50 cl bottle of wine came to 120 EUR, or 40 EUR pp (but the wine was 38, so it would be a lot cheaper if you didn't drink). Worth it though, our wine was great too. They have one of my favorite domaines here - Minuty :)
