Siesta Key Day Trip
Siesta Key Day Trip
Courtney VanAuken
This is a great daytrip if you're near Tampa. We're obsessed with the white sand and cute vibe! It's totally worth a day.
Bring your bathing suit, a towel, and your sunscreen!

Where you're headed
Siesta Key

Our favorite beach! Can take a while to get into town because there's only one lane, but it's super cute and really nice beach.
The beach is dog-friendly and they apparently truck in their sand to keep it super white!

How to spend your day
If you're following our advice, you'll be parking right by this area. Start with some delicious donuts, lounge on the dog-friendly, drink-friendly beach, then have a great seafood lunch before moseying back to your campground of choice.

Siesta Key Oyster Bar

Hole-in-the-wall vibes, but really, really good, fresh fish!
Really good clam chowder, fresh catch of the day.

The best spot to park
Siesta Key Village Muncipal Parking Lot
@travelingwithcva
Good spot to park to walk around town; it's hard to find parking on the street.
