Aperitivi in Le Marche
Kelda Wallis
The perfect places for aperitivi around central and southern Le Marche. The best wines, the best views, the best for people watching and the best for free bar snacks. I mean, who doesn't love a free bar snack?

Sant'Angelo in Pontano

Our local village has not just one, but two great aperitivi bars. Opposite one another (so you can conveniently try both) they both have great local wine, bar snacks and outside seating.

Decantautore
@kelda
Set into the walls of this small spa town, this place has a fabulous wine and local beer list, as well as small plates and handmade panini. Outside seating in the summer means you get to enjoy the free show from the swallows and swifts, and in the evenings on the weekend there's typically live music.

Bar Centrale
@kelda
This is a proper old-school local bar, with lively banter and lots of people coming and going. Outside seating in good weather makes it the perfect spot to people watch. The owner, Daniela, is incredibly friendly and will offer you a plate or two of something to accompany a very good glass of local Verdicchio di Matelica.

E'nOsteria
@kelda
Lively, young bar with a tiny kitchen and a sweet little garden out the back, where they quite often hold live music events in the summer months. Absolutely fabulous views of the mountains, so the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. Great wine and good cocktails.

Bar Pizzeria di Costantini Giorgio
@kelda
Time your visit right for a glass of Prosecco or spritz and hover around the bar whilst the owners bring out slices of hot pizza from their kitchen. You don't come here for the veiws, but you will want to stay for the free pizza.
