AMALFI

Once a powerful maritime republic, Amalfi is now a charming town that retains much of its historical grandeur. It’s the namesake of the coast and a hub of culture and history.

Must-See: Visit the Duomo di Amalfi (Amalfi Cathedral), an impressive structure with a mix of Arab-Norman, Gothic, and Byzantine influences. The Paper Museum (Museo della Carta) is also worth a stop to learn about the town’s paper-making history.

Can't miss: The local limoncello, a sweet lemon liqueur made from the region’s famous Amalfi lemons.

RAVELLO

Perched high above the sea, Ravello offers some of the most stunning views on the Amalfi Coast, perfect for a romantic gateway. Known for its gardens, art, and music, it’s a peaceful retreat away from the busier coastal towns.

Must-See: Visit Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, two historic villas with breathtaking gardens and panoramic views. Ravello is also famous for its music festivals, particularly the Ravello Festival, which runs from July to September.
