FOODIE'S HIDDEN GEMS IN LANCASTER, CAVITE

Nestled in an inconspicuous vacant lot in Lancaster New City, Cavite...is a cafe full of wonder. Such a nice hidden secret in the middle of nowhere hahah. Whimsical atmosphere, very appropriate for its name: Hiwaga Cafe. Every nook and cranny was so pretty and well thought of. I also love that it's open until midnight, i think it adds more whimsy to the place. Plus, they're super pet-friendly! Literally all the staff are friendly to our pet, when we went there. They asked for our girl's name and even petted her. Hahah. Food was also very filling! Price is reasonable. Given the servings and the ingredients. Except for the pizza! The pizza was SUUUUPER CHEAP, in my opinion! Only 200+ for a large size pizza in other pizza places. It can serve maybe 2-4pax. I also love that they have healthy options for food and drinks. ☺️

Looking for affordable, yet authentic Thai food in Cavite? Som Thai has it for you. Love the food! Thai Tea is ChaTraMue, so legit! Also plus points that they grow some of their herbs, so nice that we know it's fresh! Staff is incredibly attentive and the owner took action when we brought up some concerns. The place is also nice, breezy even without airconditioning. Although it's kind of hidden, and not along the road, that's kinda an advantage since there are a few people only, and there's a lot of parking space. It's also very LGBTQIA+ friendly! They even have a flag hanging in the restaurant. They're also pet-friendly, by the way!

Want great coffee and nice interiors? This is for you! Order a Spanish Latte to get a cinnamon-y coffee fix. And add a no frills snack with it to munch on while you and your friends take your time exchanging stories. Despite the modern, industrial interiors...the place proves to be really cozy. Suitable for long talks with friends and loved ones. Looks like the place has provisions for working remotely as they have sockets around the place. Not only that, they're also really really pet-friendly! The cashier even asked for my pet's name when we brought her with us.

Placed along the hidden side of a supermarket building, this restaurant provides affordable AND authentic indian cuisine! The really cheap prices and big servings make up for the simple interiors of the place. No need for fancy interior design, as you'll surely come back again and again for the taste of the food alone. Order their Chicken Biryani for a filling meal! Staff is also really nice and accommodating. So we really enjoyed our experience there.
